Beaver Creek - Introduction

Vail’s sister village of Beaver Creek is smaller, full of charm and elegance and is ideal for a family vacation. Exuding European luxury and charm, the village features a performing arts centre, world-class dining and lodging, plentiful shopping and nightlife. Heated walkways and escalators take guests to the chairlifts. The ski area at Beaver Creek has the addition of Bachelors Gulch area and a connecting lift to Arrowhead. It is also home to the Birds of Prey Downhill course, specifically designed for the 1999 World Alpine Championships. In addition, do not forget you can fly into nearby Eagle County airport for shorter transfer times and ultimate convenience.
Skiing
Beaver Creek is an elegant and secluded resort community, Exuding European luxury and charm. Whether you want to bash the bumps, cruise a pristine groomer or snowshoe across silent mountaintop glades, Beaver Creek mountain provides thrills, challenges, and serenity to those who grace her slopes.
Snowboarding
Beaver Creek offers various parks including an entry level park featuring rollers, dots, and rails (located off the top of Cinch Express, Chair 8). Zoom Room is a progressive park, beginning with small introductory features such as rollers, tables, and rails and graduating to larger features towards the end of the park (located off the top of Cinch Express, Chair 8). Moonshine offers Beaver Creek's most difficult terrain park featuring large tables, rails, jumps and log-slides (located off Centennial Express lift,Chair 6). Half Pipe is located off Barrel Stave, and the Beaver Creek Half Pipe is approximately 350 - 400 ft long.

There are many varied courses, and the school is renowned for its child packages, Beaver Creek Children’s Ski School instructors have the patience and the personality to get your kids on the slopes and keep them smiling. All of the programs are divided by age and ability level to insure an fun and enjoyable learning experience. Eating Out
Famous Beano's Cabin is famous for their exquisite 5-course meal in this rustic mountaintop cabin accessible by sleigh, but watch out as it is open to the public for dinner only. Spruce Saddle located at the top of the Centennial Express Lift (Chair 6) features BBQ, hearty chilis, burgers, stews, soups, fresh salads custom pizzas, and Kid's Corral Grill, and there are many more mountain and resort restaurants to choose from.
Bars and clubs
There are various bars and entertainments surrounding Beaver Creek, whether you choose to indulge and party the night away or have a relaxing evening, the choice is yours. The Coyote Café is the locals' stomping ground, and there is a DJ and dancing every evening (except Wednesdays) from 10:00pm - 12:30pm in the Village Hall. Dusty Boot Saloon is the place to be if you like tequila and microbrews.
Off the slopes
Off the mountain, other activities include snowmobiling, snowshoeing and hot air ballooning. The resort also boasts many spas, and, just an hour away, the Silverthorne outlet has great shopping with brand name clothing. In the heart of Beaver Creek Village lies the Black Family Ice Rink. Open daily throughout the winter, skate rentals are available.
