CLAVIERE - Information

Claviere is a small but charming Italian resort literally on the border with France. The resort is the connection between the Italian and French slopes of the Milky Way ski area with its 400km’s of ski runs, including the other Italian resorts of Sauze D’Oulx, Sestriere, Sansicario, Cesana and Montgenèvre in France. You can ski 2 countries in 1 day!The skiing in Claviere alone is fantastic for beginners; however intermediates and advanced skiers will want to head straight out into the more challenging resorts of Montgenèvre and Sestriere. The lift system in the Milky Way ski area is extremely well linked with a mixture of drag lifts and 2 & 4 person chair lifts; however beginner skiers may find some of the drag lifts a little tricky to begin with.
