Skiing
Copper Mountain provides access to 2,465 skiable acres making Copper Mountain one of the largest ski and snowboard resorts in Colorado. Copper Mountain offers 22 lifts and is environmentally friendly as it is 100% wind powered! Snowfall averages 280 inches per year with snowmaking facilities over 380 acres.The White River National Forest provides 25km of cross country terrain through picturesque wooded valleys.
Snowboarding
Superb half pipes, terrain parks and snowboard cross course make Copper a great snowboarders resort and with many events and competitions taking place throughout the season.
Ski Schools
Variety of adult ski schools to suit individual needs. Lessons range from private tuition to half or full day coaching. Children's schools are devised into age groups starting at ages 3-5yrs, 6-11yrs and 12-15yrs.
Eating Out
There are a variety of cafes and restaurants in Copper Mountain Village that can suit your appetite. New York style Pizza from The Blue Moose which is situated slope-side in the heart of Copper Village, or try Salsa Mountain Cantina which is good for Mexican cuisine. For a quick snack in between skiing try Camp Hale Coffee. If you are really hungry why not try out the steaks at the Double Diamond resort in the East Village!
Bars and clubs
There are a wide range of bars to suit the après-skier. Try out Endo's, and Jacks bar is ideal for a lively atmosphere, whether for the adults with the drinks, or the kids with the face painting, there is always something to entertain you.
Off the slopes
There are many activities including; Ice Skating, Curling (weather permitting), daily Snowshoeing tours, Scenic Sleigh, Shopping or unwind at the Athletic club with a swim and a massage.
