Fernie - Snowboarding
With its natural terrain, Fernie is interesting to snowboarders. You will find it a challenge simply because of all the traverses. However, the great terrain is worth every bit of the agony and strain to get to it. Try to avoid the long run-out at the bottom of Falling Star, you will most probably end up walking out—most riders only use it when they return from a days hiking in the backcountry on this side of the mountain.
