Jackson Hole - Skiing

Skiing in Jackson Hole has a huge reputation for its gnarly terrain. You can't miss Corbett's Couloir on the Rendezvous Mountain. The black runs concentrated in the area - 'Bivouac', 'Central Chute' and 'Cheyenne Gully'- are all steep and glorious, sometimes the Tsunami bumps appear, sometimes you could wake to find twelve inches of pristine powder! To the left you'll find more open spaces - 'Tensleep Bowl' is a good place for finding freshies if you're early. Après Vous Mountain is the gentler companion to Rendezvous; the terrain is a lot easier going and a place to go when you have been humbled. St John's is a wonderfully pitched cruiser on which to build speed without too much concern. There are some widely spaced trees here to wend your way through in a relaxed fashion, so you can pretty much ski where you please.
