Killington - Skiing

Killington is the largest resort on America’s east coast. There are six mountains connected by easy trails forming a total of 1,182 acres of tree-lined runs with 33 ski lifts. Three of the mountains, Snowdon, Killington and Skye, can be accessed from the base. Snowfall is reasonable for the east coast but Killington have made provisions for poor seasons with 70 percent of its slopes covered by snowmaking machines. The season is one of the longest in the USA, beginning in late October and continuing into June (snow permitting).
