Kirchberg
- Introduction

Kirchberg is a small and friendly village set in the midst of Austria’s famous Kitzbühel Ski Circus area and just 6 km from the resort of Kitzbühel itself. The resort is a great location for a ski or snowboard holiday with a great selection of accommodation on offer, from bargain rooms to deluxe hotels. Popular with families and beginners, due to its fantastic range of gentle blue and red runs, Kirchberg also has much to entertain the more advanced skiers and snowboarders. The ski school caters for all abilities and most instructors are English speaking. A number of good quality restaurants and bars are on offer in resort, with Kitzbühel’s lively après ski just a short trip away.As part of the renowned Kitzbühel Ski Circus, Kirchberg enjoys an excellent ski area, which covers over 160km of piste. It is an excellent choice for all levels of skier, particularly those with a little bit of experience. It is a good place for beginners to make their first turns, but it is an area that is perhaps best suited to intermediates, both those looking to progress on easy blues and those looking to bag lots of km on a great selection of harder blues and reds. The area also has a few black runs for the more advanced to try and as your lift ticket covers Kitzbühel’s slopes as well, you can also try the World famous Hahnenkamm run.
