Resort Information LA CLUSAZ

Part of the impressive Massif des Aravis, La Clusaz is the largest of the resorts and offers visitors a lively yet family friendly resort with a traditional Savoyard mountain feel. One of the most established resorts in the Alps, La Clusaz is also largely regarded as one of the most picturesque resorts in the Haute Savoie. A variety of slopes are available to suit all ski abilities, from tree lined beginner slopes to large bowls and steep off piste areas for the more adventurous. The main ski area of La Clusaz consists of 5 interconnecting mountains offering skiers over 130km of piste to explore. There are several nursery slopes available for beginners at resort level and also the sunny plateau served by the Beauregard gondola has a choice of easy cruising green and blue runs. There is a wide and varied choice of pistes for intermediate skiers, from wide blues on l’Etale and l’Aiguille to the more challenging red runs on Grand Crêt. Advanced skier will not be disappointed, with the Massif de la Balme offering several challenging pistes as well as access to a variety of off piste skiing and last but not least the mogul slopes under Crêt du Loup, which have newly been classified as blacks.
