LA THUILE - Information
The resort of La Thuile is a very traditional Italian ski resort despite its close proximity to the French boarder. The resort is extremely popular with families due to its range of quality affordable hotels and extensive skiing area that caters for all ages and levels of skier and boarder alike. The local scenery is breathtaking with unrivalled views of the Matterhorn, Monte Rosa and Mont Blanc.The resort uniquely offers skiing in 2 countries, all covered on the 1 lift pass due to the International connection with the French ski resort of La Rosière. The combined ski area is called the L’Espace San Bernardo and with a single lift pass you can ski over 150 km of slopes connected by 38 lifts. The ski area is ideal for beginner and intermediates due to the great choice of 27 gentle blue and 36 comfortable red runs. For the more adventurous skiers there are also 19 challenging black runs to choose from.
