LA ROSIERE - Introduction

La Rosiere ski resort is a traditional French alpine village, offering fantastic snow conditions and a variety of runs for all levels of skier. La Rosiere is linked to the ski area of La Thuile in Italy and together they create the 150 km ski area of Espace San Bernardo. The slopes of La Rosiere are south facing, ensuring lots of sunshine during your ski holiday and the resort also has a reputation as a great family resort.
Skiing
La Rosiere ski resort has a reputation of being the resort with the most snow in the Savoie. The chairs and drag lifts out of the village take you to the centre of the slopes and if you take the lift up to Col de La Traversette you can get over the ridge and to the lifts, which will link you to Italy at Belvedere. There are a few on-piste challenges for experts with the top half of La Rosiere mountain below Le Roc Noir and Col De La Traversette boasting steep and interesting red runs. La Rosiere has wide-open slopes well suited to beginners and intermediates where there are good nursery slopes and short lifts near the village and near Les Eucherts.
