PUY ST VINCENT - Introduction

More commonly known as 'PSV' Puy St Vincent is located on one of the most stunning settings at the edge of the National Park ''Les Ecrins'' and is still considered to be one of skiing's best kept secrets... apart from a couple of weeks during French holidays Puy it is virtually queue free. Puy Saint Vincent is a resort mostly for families. There are great nursery runs suitable for beginners, excellent ski school and a wide range of child-specific products. For intermediates, the resort has a limited number of slopes that will challenge the majority of skiers and for experts there are some decent black pistes and the possibility of guided off-pistefor the adventurous.
Skiing
The resort offers 75kms of groomed pistes serviced by 13 lifts. There are a total of 42 slopes to choose from, however the resort definitely favours the beginners and intermediate skiers with an impressive 6, green, 14 blue and 12 red runs.
Snowboarding
The resort is probably not the best for Snowboarders due to the many flat sections on many of the green and blue runs.
Ski Schools
The Ecole Du ski Francais ski school offers a choice of private and group lessons, however group lessons may not always run unless there are sufficient numbers to fill the lessons.
Eating Out
There is a very small selection of restaurants in resort.
Bars and clubs
There is a very small selection of bars to choose from.
