Samoëns is conveniently located in the Haute-Savoie area of the French Alps, and is a chic mountain village where you can enjoy a traditional style French holiday with quality accommodation and fantastic skiing.The Samoëns ski area offers a varied playground accessible to all. For the expert skiers among you there are black and red pistes at the top of the resort and a vast off-piste area if you are feeling a little more adventurous. Beginners will enjoy the lower, gentler blue and green slopes (all of which were entirely re-designed in 2003). With their 265 km of pistes and their 5 interlinked resorts of Morillon, Samoëns, Les Carroz, Sixt, Fer à Cheval and Flaine, the Grand Massif ski area is currently considered as one of the largest and finest ski domains in France.
