Sunday River - Skiing

Resort Information Sunday River

In terms of sheer size, Sunday River is remarkable: 131 trails, 667.7 acres and 8 interconnected mountains. Each peak offers a distinct experience, from the steeps and bumps of White Cap to the tree skiing of Oz to the cruising on North Peak and Jordan Bowl, and it's all serviced by a network of 18 modern lifts, four of which are high-speed quads, ensuring easy access to every corner of the resort quickly and easily. At the eastern end of the resort, White Cap features some of the most challenging terrain on the mountain with steeps, glades, and the legendary bump run White Heat. Obsession is a long Black run full of rolls and variation in pitch. Spruce Peak offers two long Blue cruisers, Risky Business and American Express, and the short and steep bump run Downdraft. Spruce also offers quick access to the western side of the resort with the Green run Sirius. OZ is a unique bowl with advanced Black and Double-Black terrain. Runs here are a mix of glades and open runs full of natural terrain features and steep pitches. The trail breakdown is Green Circle: 43 Trails, Blue Square: 47, Single Black: 25, and Double Black: 16.
