VALFREJUS - Information
Valfrejus, a typical Savoyard resort, is located just above the village of Modane in the Maurienne Valley. The resort provides good skiing for all levels from beginner through to experts with 23 pistes and 12 lifts. A great resort to experience French cuisine in one of the varied restaurants and experience that little bit of France. A great ‘family-friendly’ resort. It is easily accessed by car, being less than 15 minutes from the motorway.13 lifts service the 65km of slopes in Val Frejus. The focus for the skiing is the Plateau d’Arrondaz, at 2200m, from which you can take lifts a further 500m upwards, or ride the slopes, including a long and winding blue run, back to the village 650m below.The ValFrejus lift ticket also allows a day on the slopes of the nearby resort of La Norma. The more adventurous can even travel just down the valley to join the Orelle Telecabine, which provides access to the Three Vallees, via Val Thorens (separate lift ticket).
